Challenge

For the user it’s one app for all money needs: Bank, borrow, invest, and plan on the go – anytime, anywhere. Manage money, track spending, monitor your credit score. For the business it’s a freemium cross sell platform offering users investing accounts, banking accounts, loans, and more. The app serves up custom offers and experiences depending on usage.

Solution

Target user is moderately affluent early career with high earning potential. We designed a framework that scales with user needs, and business needs. It contains an overall experience with freemium services as well as 4 distinct financial verticals to deep dive into. Each vertical is designed to scale, while offering unique content. It’s a massive high-performance app, designed in-house with nearly 1000 unique screens, hundreds of marketing use cases, its own design system containing hundreds of dynamic components, assets, and patterns.

Results

App was deployed in August, current user base as of Jan 1, 2024, is ~60k. Target persona is 65% of users. App store feedback is great. Over 5 billion in assets with these users bank accounts.
